The Picto Foundation is launching the 24th edition of the Picto Prize for Fashion Photography, which has been rewarding emerging talents in the field of fashion photography since 1998.

For the 24th edition, candidates have until March 21 to submit their applications and the finalists will be announced at the end of March. The award ceremony is scheduled for April 2022. Nominees for the Picto Prize for Fashion Photography must be under 35 years of age. Additionally, they must submit two sets of eight images, the application form, a brief biography and a text that introduces each set.

The Picto Prize for Fashion Photography awards three prizes each year: the Grand Prix Picto for Fashion Photography with the support of Leica; the le19M Photography of Métiers d'Arts endowment, bringing together Chanel's Métiers d'Art, and the Filippo Roversi endowment with the support of photographer Paolo Roversi.

The Picto Prize for Fashion Photography was initiated to support fashion photographers under the age of 35 in launching their careers. The award has revealed photographers with international careers such as Louis Decamps (1998 winner) and Sofia & Mauro (2002 winners). Since 2014, the prize rewards three photographers each year. The jury, which changes every year, is made up of personalities from the worlds of art, fashion and luxury.
