UDEP (Peru) and ISEM (Spain) launch Fashion Marketing and Communication programme

The University of Piura (UDEP) in Peru has announced a new international programme in Fashion Marketing and Communication in collaboration with ISEM Fashion Business School from the University of Navarra in Spain.

The collaborative programme will be taught at UDEP’s college of communication by fashion educators from both institutions.

It aims to train “future fashion entrepreneurs and communicators” in Peru, an emerging market in the global fashion sector, according to a statement by the director of ISEM Fashion Business School, Teresa Sádaba. The statement appeared in a news article on UDEP’s official website.

In addition, the objective of the programme is to help students acquire essential knowledge about fashion issues and the industry as a whole, as well as to equip them with the necessary skills and essential tools to perform professionally in managing marketing and communications strategies for fashion brands.

An international fashion programme taught in English

The international Fashion Marketing and Communication program at UDEP in collaboration with ISEM will be taught fully online in English.

It includes the following courses: Introduction to fashion business and fashion marketing, Introduction to fashion communication, Fashion and culture, Thinking about fashion, Art direction in fashion and artistic disciplines.

Furthermore it features the courses Sustainability, Responsibility and fashion business; The fashion consumer culture, and Digital fashion brand strategy.

Communication students at UDEP and those studying at the institution’s other departments can enrol, as well as students from other universities in Peru and abroad who are interested in the fashion management sector.

Students must have an intermediate level of English and a weighted average grade equal to or higher than 12.5 according to the Peruvian grading scale.
