Young Italian fashion talent to present at Who is on Next? Show 2022 in Rome

On July 12, a fashion show will take place in Rome as part of Altaroma (Rome Fashion Week), that will decide the winner of the Who is on next? competition for emerging fashion talent in Italy.
The city of Rome and the Department for Events, Sport, Tourism and Fashion of Italy sponsor the event, which will see the eleven finalists of the competition take to the catwalk in Piazza del Campidoglio.
"For this edition, our young people will be able to compete in a prestigious and beautiful setting," commented Silvia Venturini Fendi, the president of Altaroma. "We are very proud of the final result and the competition has been able to get this far thanks to the attention and constant support of all the institutions that have always been partners of our event, in particular, the Chamber of Commerce of Rome, the Lazio Region, Ice Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy."
The finalists of Who is on Next? are 10.2", Çanaku, Gams Note, Karim Daoudi, Lessico Familiare, Lucia Chain, Maison Laponte, Mokoo, Morphine, Setchu and Vìen. The designers been divided into the ready-to-wear and accessories categories, with the men's and genderless section reconfirmed for this season as well.
They will be evaluated by an international jury composed of, among others, Manuela Brini (Director of Creative Talent Acquisition and Development at LVMH Fashion Group); Edward Buchanan (creative director at Sansovino6 and co-founder of Wami); Carlo Capasa (president of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion (CNMI)), Stella Jean (fashion designer), Alessandro Michele (creative director of Gucci); Raffaello Napoleone (the CEO of the Pitti Immagine events); Luca Rizzi (Tutoring and Consulting Director at Pitti Immagine) and Silvia Venturini Fendi (artistic director of accessories and menswear Fendi and the president of Altaroma Fashion Week).
