Fashion design students at Arizona State University (ASU) are earning recognition and real-world experience through collaborations with major luxury brands as part of their undergraduate coursework. The programme has connected students with established industry partners, providing opportunities to work on professional briefs, develop portfolio-ready projects and engage with global fashion standards.

The initiative spans areas such as design, textiles, merchandising and brand strategy, with students presenting work to designers and executives from leading luxury houses. In several cases, participants have received mentorship, internships and direct feedback from industry professionals, supporting their transition into competitive fashion careers.

Faculty and programme leaders say these partnerships enrich ASU’s fashion curriculum by integrating academic study with practical industry exposure, helping students build the technical skills, creative confidence and professional networks needed to succeed after graduation.

ASU has positioned the programme as part of its broader commitment to experiential learning in arts, design and fashion education, attracting growing interest from prospective students and fashion industry collaborators.
