CIAFE selects talent for Africa’s Young Fashion Leaders Fellowship

The Council for International African Fashion Education (CIAFE), a non-profit organisation that is dedicated to improving the standards of fashion education to make it accessible to all people in hopes to create employability opportunities, has selected talent for Africa’s Young Fashion Leaders Fellowship.

Twelve fellows have been chosen for the one-year-long fully funded fellowship programme. It aims to introduce a new generation of African talent into the fashion industry and provide the chosen fellows with real-world experience and ongoing mentorship from industry experts.

Fellows will work in the following departments: data analytics (two positions), digital and content marketing (two positions), events coordinating (two positions), project management (two positions), research and development (two positions) and social sustainability: outreach and community (two positions).

Skills including communications, content creation, critical thinking, crisis management, data collection, management, market research, social sustainability, time management, presentation skills and problem-solving will be developed during the fellowship.

The fellows will receive official CIAFE CPD recognised accreditation courses, priority registration and access to courses such as the Conde Nast College x CIAFE x AFF accredited course, among other benefits.
