On February 17, a group of students from two schools in Gouda, The Netherlands, will present a vintage fashion show, according to a news article by Dutch local news platform In de Buurt.

The fashion show is a collaboration between high school De Driestar and the middle-level vocational school (MBO) Het Hoornbeeck College. Models will show vintage fashion to students on a catwalk that will be built especially for the occasion.

The project is an initiative by student Sanne Bregman, from Het Hoornbeeck College. In search of a project that would benefit the community, student Sanne came in contact with the local organisation Fairtrade Gouda. Together, they decided to hold a fashion show with high school De Driestar.

Sanne Bregman organises the fashion show together with other students from Het Hoornbeeck College and four high school students from De Driestar.

The group went to various Fairtrade shops and shops that sell used clothing, and put together different outfits. “As the final step, the students had to look for models because they are not going to walk the catwalk themselves,” said Sanne Bregman.

The vintage fashion show will take place in the big hall of high school De Driestar in the Dutch municipality of Gouda, near Rotterdam, next week Thursday, February 17.
