Fashion Business School EIDM hosted the seventh edition of Fashion Week Latam (FWLATAM) 2025 on its Madrid campus in November. The event, held from 12 to 14 November, centred its main runway shows at Espacio Monbull Conde Duque and highlighted the theme of legacy and continuity in fashion.
The 2025 edition recognised several influential figures from Latin American and Spanish fashion. Designer Custo Dalmau, marking 45 years of his brand Custo Barcelona, and the Colombian label Faride, celebrating its 60th anniversary, were both honoured. Fashion journalist Jesús María Montes-Fernández was also recognised for his long-standing contribution to the industry. Spanish designer Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada served as the event’s madrina, reinforcing the ties between Spain and Latin America.
Students from EIDM’s Bachelor in Fashion Management programme took part in various aspects of the event, gaining practical experience through volunteering, networking opportunities, and producing their own fashion show. The programme’s launch included a photography exhibition by Honduran artist Cristhian Valenzuela, titled ARKHÉ SERAPH, which explored identity through light and the human form.
Jorge Coll, Honorary President of ACE Education and EIDM, noted that the partnership with Fashion Week Latam reflected the school’s strategy to combine creative and business-focused approaches within fashion education.
Fashion Week Latam 2025 brought together established names and emerging talent, positioning Madrid as a meeting point for cross-cultural fashion exchange.
