On 1 October 2026, students from 11 European fashion institutions will present their work at the FashionTEX Digital Fashion Show in Riga, Latvia. Hosted at the LED Unit Virtual Production Studio during the second annual FashionTEX Festival, the event highlights student projects that integrate physical garments with 3D design, animation, and virtual environments. The platform demonstrates how emerging creators are using digital toolkits across both garment construction and runway presentation.
The show uses real-time virtual production technology, utilizing LED volume walls and tracking systems commonly found in film production. By staging physical garments within digitally rendered environments, the initiative explores hybrid presentation models that minimize traditional runway logistics and physical sample production.
