The Functional Fabric Fair Spring 2026 will bring three days of expert-led education and sourcing opportunities to Portland, Oregon, from April 7–9, 2026 at the Oregon Convention Center.

The trade event—powered by Performance Days—will combine industry insights with sourcing for Spring/Summer 2027–2028 collections. Designers, product developers and material specialists will explore innovations in performance textiles, sustainability strategies and regulatory developments shaping the sector.

The programme begins on April 7 with a full-day sustainability workshop featuring sessions on policy updates, supply-chain collaboration, packaging regulations and textile-to-textile recycling technologies. The workshop will be led by industry experts including Eric Brody, Todd Copeland and Kevin Myette.

Across April 8–9, the event’s Expert Talks series will feature more than ten sessions covering topics such as circularity, performance science, colour and trend forecasting, and next-generation materials. The show will also host more than 300 suppliers presenting sustainable fabrics, trims and accessories for the global apparel industry.

According to organisers, the educational programme is designed to provide product teams with practical insights and strategies that can be applied to future collections as the industry navigates evolving sustainability and innovation challenges.
