Global Fashion Agenda (GFA) has released new insights into its Trailblazer Programme, outlining how early-stage sustainability innovations can transition from concept to commercial application. The initiative, delivered in partnership with PDS Ventures, provides start-ups with investment, strategic support and access to supply-chain partners.
Two recent Trailblazers—Everbloom and Refiberd—reported significant progress after participating in the programme. Everbloom has advanced from proof-of-concept to pilot-stage production of bio-based fibres made from protein waste, while Refiberd has expanded the use of its AI-powered textile-sorting technology across multiple points in the recycling and resale supply chain.
Applications for the 2026 edition are now open, with GFA seeking innovators focused on nature-positive solutions, circular systems and technology-driven transformation.
