I-D Italy collaborates with creative hub Dadsit

I-D Italy, a platform for talent, has collaborated with Dadsit, a creative hub founded by Polimoda alumna, to present a competition to look for emerging fashion designers.

Polimoda alumna, including Giacomo Nasi, Giorgio Matteo Lorusso and Nicola del Cioppo, founded the hub to support future designers in the following: digital communications, pattern making, prototyping, production, renting, selling and more.

The I-D Italy x Dadsit project wishes to give talent the opportunity to build their own virtual archive, create their own fashion lookbook and reach a larger audience.

There will be 15 winners of the competition who will win an editorial and professional lookbook photoshoot. In addition to their collection being showcased in the Dadsit’s Florence-based showroom for eight months.

To enter the competition, the designers must submit a collection of five to eight looks with a mood board, as well as already have a base in Italy.

Applications close on May 27; however, applicants will have until June 10 to complete their projects if they are unfinished when submitted.
