LIM College and ESMOD Paris launch new inter-continental bachelor's degree in fashion design and business

LIM College in New York City and ESMOD Paris have partnered to launch a new dual-location Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Fashion Design and Business, according to details released by LIM College. The four-year program is structured to bridge the persistent gap between commercial strategy and creative design by splitting instruction across both global fashion capitals. Students will complete their first and fourth years at LIM College’s campus in Manhattan, while spending their second and third years in France studying garment construction and design at ESMOD Paris.

The curriculum blends foundational business disciplines with intensive technical craftsmanship. During the initial year in New York, coursework focuses on core fashion business principles, marketing, and industry fundamentals. The two-year tenure in Paris shifts heavily toward technical design, studio production, patternmaking, and collection development under ESMOD’s established design pedagogy. Students then return to New York for their final year to complete advanced business management coursework, undertake corporate internships, and build a capstone fashion collection.
