LIM College will host its annual student-produced fashion show on April 10 at The Glasshouse, bringing together industry partners and international collaborators in a showcase of emerging talent.
The event, fully planned and executed by students, will centre on the theme “Global Fashion Fusion,” highlighting how diverse cultures and global perspectives influence contemporary fashion design.
This year, Amazon joins as presenting sponsor, while WWD returns as exclusive media partner for the second consecutive year. The partnerships aim to provide students with industry exposure and insights into the evolving global fashion landscape.
The show will feature collections created by LIM College students alongside work from graduates of ESMOD, part of the Japan Educational Foundation (JEF), which LIM College recently joined. Additional student work in design, animation and gaming from JEF institutions in Japan will also be წარმოდ at the venue, reflecting the increasing intersection of fashion with digital and creative disciplines.
According to LIM College, the event is designed to expand students’ professional development through real-world experience, global collaboration and exposure to industry partners. Representatives from Amazon Fashion and WWD highlighted the importance of supporting emerging talent and providing educational opportunities that align with the demands of a digitally driven fashion industry.
Founded in 1939, LIM College specialises in the business of fashion and emphasises experiential learning through student-led projects, internships and industry partnerships.
