Macy’s Flagship store in New York City will be filled with live flowers, plants, trees, and various unique floral arrangements during its 46th annual flower show and, for the first time, with a special presentation at Herald Square Park taking place between May 2 and 16.

For this year’s theme, Macy’s has partnered with the Fashion Institute of Technology design students as part of an initiative aimed at allowing up-and-coming fashion design students to showcase their work. Students floral themed fashion apparel will be displayed against an array of floral arrangements.

“The 2021 Macy’s Flower Show will feature magnificently landscaped gardens inspired by the feeling of hope for a brighter year ahead,” stated Rick Pomer, creative director, Macy’s Flower Show, in a release.

“Give. Love. Bloom. will awe spectators, kicking off the spring season with an immersive, floral spectacular that will delight the senses. We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors and pedestrians to our magical floral oasis where the resilient spirit of the city will be in full bloom.”
