Earlier this month MOME(Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design) Fashion Show 2025 highlighted the next generation of fashion talent, emphasizing the evolving landscape of fashion education. A key feature was the presence of Linda Loppa, a renowned fashion curator and consultant, who participated in a roundtable discussion on the shifting centers of fashion and delivered a lecture on fashion's cultural power.
The show, led by Ildikó Kele and Dóri Tomcsányi, showcased collections from BA and MA graduates. These projects focused on contemporary themes, personal narratives, individuality, and sustainability, demonstrating the program's commitment to both traditional craft and cutting-edge technologies. For the first time, the MOME Fashion Show coincided with the Budapest Central European Fashion Week, providing a broader platform for emerging designers and boosting the visibility of Hungarian brands. An accompanying exhibition further showcased diploma projects addressing pressing contemporary issues.
The MOME Fashion Show serves as a vital platform for graduates of the Fashion and Textile Design program at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, fostering new voices and perspectives within the industry.
