The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) hosted LVMH Day at its Atlanta campus, marking the first time the global luxury group has held the event at an American university. The initiative brought together students from SCAD’s School of Fashion and the De Sole School of Business Innovation with representatives from several of LVMH’s leading Maisons.
The event was designed to connect students with professionals from across the luxury industry, offering a behind-the-scenes view of LVMH’s operations and creative culture. Executives and talent teams from Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Christian Dior Couture, and the LVMH Fashion Group — including Celine, Givenchy, Pucci, Loewe, Kenzo, and Fendi — participated in presentations and workshops.
More than 200 senior and graduate students from SCAD’s programs in luxury and brand management, fashion marketing and management, and business of beauty and fragrance attended. Sessions such as “Inside LVMH,” Louis Vuitton’s Accessories Design Graduate Initiative, and Retail Reimagined provided insight into career pathways and brand innovation across the company’s portfolio of more than 75 Maisons.
In addition, 28 students took part in one-on-one “Meet the Maisons” sessions, where they met directly with LVMH talent acquisition representatives for portfolio reviews and career discussions.
According to a press release from SCAD, the collaboration underscores the university’s ongoing efforts to connect students with industry leaders, while LVMH’s participation reflects its focus on nurturing emerging talent within the creative and luxury sectors.
