The students, professors and staff of ESNE School of Design in Madrid hold a minute of silence for the victims of the war in Ukraine

The students of ESNE, the University of Design, Innovation and Technology in Madrid have undertaken three actions in support of the people of Ukraine, as per a statement FashionUnited received from the school via email.

Firstly, last Thursday, March 3, students, professors, and staff held a minute of silence for Ukraine at the entrance of the university campus in Madrid.

Secondly, the Spanish university is collecting warm clothing and non-perishable foods that will be taken to the Ukrainian border this Friday, March 11.

In addition, and in line with their second initiative, ESNE sent out an email to its student body, professors, and staff with information about alternative locations for the collection of food and materials that may be helpful for the Ukrainian people.

The email also offered mention of organisations where one can make a donation and institutions for volunteer work.
