Third-year students of the Fashion Design and Fashion Business programs at Amsterdam Fashion Academy, The Netherlands, were given the opportunity to realize a project for Viktor&Rolf. The students designed capsule collections and created a marketing plan for the virtual retail launch.
The students worked together in small groups under the guidance of Adele Parker, program leader of the undergraduate Fashion Design program. Afterward, the students had the chance to present their projects to Sebastian Dahlmans and Alfhild Sarah Külper, heads of the design department at Viktor&Rolf.
"We loved working with these young creative minds which gave us so much energy back. Seeing their enthusiastic teamwork and how the projects evolved by working together was the biggest success for us,” says Sebastian Dahlmans and Alfhild Sarah Külper, Heads of Design at Viktor&Rolf.
Parker also responds to this collaboration in the press release: "It was a great pleasure to work with the design team at Viktor&Rolf on this student project. It has given the students an invaluable experience working with real industry professionals, giving them in-depth feedback and support throughout the project. V&R encouraged our students to work together as a team to promote strong connections and collaborations, reflecting the idea that no one works alone in this industry.”
