Janine Karssens, a final year student at TMO Fashion Business School in the Netherlands has won the INretail award 2022, per an announcement on the INretail website.
The Netherlands’ biggest non-food retail industry association, INretail, aims to recognise students with the best graduation thesis with the award.
This year’s winner, Janine Karssens, did her internship at Dutch department store De Bijenkorf’s beauty department and received an 8.5 out of 10 grade for both the internship and graduation thesis.
During her internship, Janine investigated how to optimise the traffic in The Netherlands’ largest department store, as well as how the company could adapt to trends in society in the best way possible. She presented these findings to De Bijenkorf’s team at the end of her internship.
