IAF - ITMF Convention

In 2026, we are partnering with ABIT, the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association, a valued member of both IAF and ITMF. ABIT represents one of the world’s largest and most dynamic apparel and textile ecosystems and brings extensive experience in hosting international events. Next year, the IAF–ITMF Annual Convention will be held in conjunction with the ABIT International Conference, creating a unique and expanded meeting point for industry leaders.

The host city, Fortaleza, located in Northeast Brazil, is both an important industrial hub and a vibrant coastal destination. Its strong regional textile and apparel cluster, combined with its renowned Brazilian hospitality and beautiful beach setting, will provide an inspiring backdrop for a rich, high-level international program.

Brazil’s textile and apparel industry is a global powerhouse, with a well-developed ecosystem and close collaboration between manufacturers and retailers—offering valuable insights for companies worldwide. With trade developments such as the EU–Mercosur agreement gaining momentum, the timing could not be more relevant for exploring new business opportunities in Brazil.
