Holly Fulton jobs

Holly Fulton is a womenswear and accessories designer living and working in East London. Born in Scotland, Holly studied in Edinburgh before going on to the prestigious Masters at the Royal College of Art. She established her eponymous label in 2009 after gaining industry experience in London and Paris. Holly was a part of London’s Fashion East platform for two seasons before being awarded sponsorship and support from the UK's NEWGEN initiative five seasons in a row. She has been showing her collection as London Fashion week since 2012. Holly has a ballgown in the V&A collection and has collaborated with luxury stationary brand Smythson as well as Swarovski. Attention to detail, complex graphic embellishment and witty twists are what make Holly’s work instantly recognisable. Hand rendered, digitally manipulated print coupled with unusual fabrications and embellishment create strong unified looks, from top to toe. The label is currently stocked in several countries worldwide at influential retailers. Holly Fulton collection explores duality: the tough and the girly, night and day, decadent and demure, covered and revealed. Three quarter length cashmere and printed wool/silk coats are finished with bejewelled collars and cuffs, shrugged over lingerie-cut slip-dresses and camisoles. Tableaux printed hand pleated skirts, party dresses adorned with delicate crystal spaghetti straps and fully crystalized multi-stone shifts evoke the trends. Accessed with the support of the IFM Paris WORTH project, Sophie Hallette lace is trapped between latex and bonded to wool sponsored by Woolmark and Holland & Sherry.
