For European visitors and exhibitors, Intertextile Beijing, taking place from 27th to 29th March at China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing, is an excellent opportunity to not only check out the latest in apparel fabrics and accessories from China but

from all over Asia.

Following
the cue from last year’s strong demand, there will again be four different zones/pavilions at this year’s Intertextile, namely the Japan zone and one pavilion each for products and services from Korea, Taiwan and Pakistan.

In the Japan zone, 16 exhibitors will present high-quality cotton, knitted, man-made and silk fabrics as well as the latest in fabric design and technology. “As Chinese customers’ demand for high-quality fabrics increases, we try to develop more fabrics based on Japanese quality at reasonable prices,” says Itsuko Kimura of Sojitz Fashion.

The Korea pavilion’s 52 exhibitors will showcase a wide range of man-made and functional fabrics. “We have developed many jacquard fabrics especially for this fair which will be shown for the first time,” promises Mr Jang, president of Scenic Inc. who has been coming to the fair for the last eight years.

A wide variety of fabrics and accessories await visitors
The focus of the 31 exhibitors grouped together in the Taiwan pavilion will be on high-quality accessories, cotton, denim, embroidery, jacquard, knit, lace, polyester, spandex and wool-blended and woven fabrics suitable for both the mass and luxury markets.

The Pakistan pavilion, organised in conjunction with the Embassy of Pakistan, presents jeans and cotton fabrics for casual wear. Individual exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, India, Korea and Pakistan will showcase their collections of cotton, knitted fabrics, lace and embroidery and silk in Hall 5, where visitors can also find accessories like buttons, labels, zippers, lace and embroidery.

More than 1300 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions have confirmed their participation, among them a strong contingent of high-end European suppliers who will show off their wares at the ever-popular SalonEurope.

Yarn Expo Spring - also organised by Messe Frankfurt - will take place at the same time, as well as the China International Clothing and Accessories Fair CHIC from 26th to 29th March. Visitors can avail of the free shuttle buses to make the most of all three fairs.
