Italian luxury footwear brand Fratelli Rossetti is celebrating its 60th birthday this year. The company, together with Missoni, Zegna, Armani and Ferragamo, is one of the few remaining Italian independent brands who's founding family maintains

full control over the company.

With
the occasion of the anniversary, Fratelli Rossetti expects to post revenue amounting to 90 million euro.

In the 60′s and 70′s, Rossetti collaborated with important labels including Valentino, Bill Blass, Giorgio Armani and Pierre Cardin.

In the late 70’s the company was the first to open on Madison Avenue in New York.

In the 80’s, the brand reached international awareness with boutiques opening in Paris on Rue Royale and London, on Bond Street.

The luxury company still produces its shoes in Italy and follows the rule that each family member who wishes to be involved with the company has to go through extensive training and work their way up the ladder.

In 2012, Fratelli Rossetti launched its made-to-measure service, which is currently available at its flagship store in Milan on Via Montenapoleone.

An international travelling exhibition with iconic pieces has been featured in several of its flagship stores, including Hong Kong and Shanghai, with other cities to follow suit in 2013.
