Russia, Turkey, Jordan and Hungary, are part of French Connection's international expansion plan for 2011. The move into the markets is supported with a new interior design concept by the global fashion brand. In time for the spring season,

French Connection launched its Moscow and St Petersburg stores featuring the women’s collections. Both stores have raw steel walls, bespoke floor to ceiling mirrored fitting rooms, semi-polished concrete floors, and are completed with Italian furniture. London’s Westfield store has been the inspiration for the Turkey shop in Anchora, and received the same interior design treatments as the premium shop. Both the men’s and women’s collections are available for purchase.

Jordan and Hungary are up next following the successful roll out of French Connection's international expansion, and the stores are expected to open for autumn 2011. Besides French Connection, classic label Great Plains part of the Group is also growing. The womenswear brand will be available on zalando.com in France, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands this autumn.

Stephen Marks founded French Connection in 1972. Set up as a clothing company, over the last years French connection expanded into accessories such as toiletries, watches and shoes.
