Gucci allies with KOSAF to provide scholarships to fashion students in Korea

The italian fashion brand Gucci has announced it partnership with the Korean Student Aid Foundation (KOSAF) in order to offer 'The Gucci Scholarship Program' to the most talented korean fashion students.

 

This iniciative consists on providing bursary aid for a five-years period programm as well as the opportunity to visit Gucci's leather goods factory in Florence and a fashion show in Milan to the best 5 university students majoring in fashion-related fields.

 

Gucci's creative director, Frida Giannini expressed in a question-and-answer session at Garam Hall in Hongik University, that "Gucci is pleased to partner with KOSAF, which has operated many programs that support students pursuing higher education regardless of their financial means. I hope that through this new partnership between Gucci and KOSAF will open a pathway for students to acheive their goals and dreams.” 

 

Details and criteria on the recruitment process will be annonced by Gucci and KOSAF in September, and the winners will be announced in December.
