Along with the previously announced news that Alexander McQueen and Tom Ford will be presenting their mainline menswear line at London Collections: Men in January, British heritage brand Hardy Amies has confirmed that it will be showing in

London this season instead of Milan.

The
provisional schedule released by the British Fashion Council confirms more than 50 menswear designers are to show in London, with luxury outdoor brand Belstaff kicking off the second edition of LCM with a breakfast presentation on January 7, and closing proceedings is a yet-to-be named designer showing at 7pm on January 9.

Other highlights of the schedule include a breakfast presentation by Burberry, Hackett will return to show its second catwalk collection, and Savile Row stalwarts Richard James and E.Tautz will be showing their ready-to-wear lines, whilst a number of Savile Row tailors will present as part of a collective on the Tuesday afternoon.

Most of the shows are set to take place at The Hospital Club in London, where there will also be showcases from Ozwald Boateng, Oliver Spencer, Richard Nicoll, Jonathan Saunders, Meadham Kirchhoff, Christopher Kane and James Long, as well as this season’s Fashion Forward winners Lou Dalton, Christopher Shannon, J.W. Anderson and E.Tautz.

Commenting on the schedule, Dylan Jones, Chair of London Collections: Men and Editor of British GQ, said: "All of us involved in the first London Collections: Men were overwhelmed by the response to the first week in June, especially from an international perspective. We have had even more enthusiasm and support for the second season, and we are all looking forward to January being bigger and better than last time."

As well as shows and presentations a number of other events will take place, including a reception hosted by Tommy Hilfiger, events by Mr Porter, as well as the GQ dinner.

London Collections: Men will take place from January 7 to 9 at The Hospital Club, London.
