Denim brand Lee is celebrating its 125th anniversary with a collaborative collection in partnership with four contemporary menswear and womenswear designers from the helm of some of its favourite labels.

For Lee Men, the collection will include pieces from Donwan Harrell, creative director of US-based luxury menswear label Prps, who has added “confident finishes” and “visual washes” to the collection, while Swedish denim king and former Cheap Monday designer Orjan Andersson has brought “upbeat character” with his clean pared-down washes, patched and repaired denim.

In addition, the denim brand has collaborated with the Belgian design trio behind Filles à Papa, sisters Sarah and Carol Piron and Gregory Derkenne, for its womenswear collection to create an evening, casual look which mixes influences of American sportswear and rock and roll.

The final designer taking part in the collaborative collection is Emma François of Parisian womenswear label Sessùn, who has added her refined feminine aesthetic to the project, focusing on details and drawing inspiration from distant cultures, music and art.

The Lee 125 collection launches in store on October 16.
