Bafta's red carpet fashion

The Bafta Awards is arguably the UK's most glamorous red carpet event and the fashion seen on the leading actors and actresses is nothing but noteworthy.

Some of the finest couture dresses and ready-to-wear of the new season was seen at Sunday's arrivals, and despite the stormy winter weather, it was the Spring/Summer collections that shone.

Some of the highlights included a Christian Dior strapless green couture gown worn by Lupita Nyong'o, matching Saint Laurent tuxedos worn by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and Kate Blanchett in Alexander McQueen.

British actress Ruth Wilson was a season ahead, and opted for an AW14 pre-colletion metallic trouser suit by Antonio Berardi.
