Grace Coddington has designed a capsule collection with Nicolas Ghesquiere for Balenciaga named after her cat, Pumpkin. Bags and scarfs features Coddington’s hand-drawn illustrations of Pumpkin wearing past Balenciaga collections.

There is a 1,000 dollar Pumpkin Papier Tote available in orange or beige. Also, the US Vogue creative director designed two scarfs with the cat-print: priced 395 and 495 dollar.

These days, cats seems to be in fashion. Choupette, Karl Lagerfelds pet, has become one of the most famous cats ever. “I even get propositioned by pet food companies and things like that,” Lagerfeld recently told The Independent. So far this month, Choupette has landed a profile in i-D, and a spread in Harper’s Bazaar - with model credit. Choupette travels with Lagerfeld to St Tropez on his private jet "in the cockpit, with the pilot, she loves looking at the sky". She has three maids and gets a vet check-up every ten days. At the moment, Choupette (ChoupetteDiary) has more than 15,000 Twitter followers.

Balenciaga will be selling the Pumpkin capsule collection during Fashion's Night Out on September 6 in its Los Angeles and New York stores. 20 percent of the proceeds will go toward the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons.
