Dior Cruise Colllection 2014

The cruise catwalk collections are always a little more civilised than those during global fashion weeks. Perhaps because they are less in number than the mainlines, though no less important.

Raf Simons for Dior showed his collection in Monaco, on the catwalk we saw a flurry of dresses, worn with lace, bandeau tops and juxtaposed with coloured panels. There was a deconstructivist element to the cut-aways, as seen in tops and asymmetric hemlines. Dresses came with zippers, adding a sportive element. Accessories came in multi-coloured heels and lighweight scarves, which added a dash of bold colour.
