Aitor Throup at Design Museum

Held as part of the Series of Talks at the Design Museum, Aitor discusses his fascination with anatomy, the importance of placing functionality at the heart of each designed object and his creative use of innovative methods of design and production.

In 2008 Throup began a collaboration with Stone Island using a new methodology of garment construction with much broader application, establishing a construction process that bypassed standard industry approaches to pattern-making and sewing.
