To celebrate the Baguette's fifteenth birthday, Italian fashion house Fendi has just opened an online pop-up boutique on its website. The shop celebrates everything Baguette, the popular handbag designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi that reached cult status thanks the the television series Sex and the City.

On offer are T-shirts and scarves with sketches of the bag by Fendi's ready-to-wear designer Karl Lagerfeld. Also available are DIY kits with which you can decorate and personalize your Baguette with embroidery. And in addition, the site offers vintage bags and 100 Geometric designs made from canvas with leather trim.

Last June, 'Baguette operation' - a term coined by Fendi chief Pietro Beccari - kicked off with the publication of a coffee-table book dedicated to the Baguette and a series of events held in Fendi boutiques worldwide and in up-market stores like 10 Corso Como in Milan and Colette in Paris. The site also features a movie called 'The Art of Embroidery' made in collaboration with the artist Maurizio Anzeri.
