Fondation YSL to exhibit Hedi Slimane photographs

The Fondation Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent in Paris is preparing for a major new exhibition by its creative director and photographer Hedi Slimane.

Simply titled 'Sonic', the retrospective will feature Slimane's vision of the rock scene, through intimate black and white shots of music figures including Lou Reed, Brian Wilson, Amy Winehouse and Keith Richards taken over the past 15 years by the highly regarded designer.

Also announced is a video documentary installation that draws parallels between the London scene 2003-2007 and the current scene in California.
