Karl pops up at Selfridges

Luxury department store Selfridges has opened a dedicated space to Karl Lagerfeld’s signature brand to celebrate the launch of the autumn/winter 2012 Karl Man and Woman collections, as well as his new self-titled premium line, Karl Lagerfeld Paris Man.
The pop-up, which has opened on the third-floor, is also housing a sporting-themed collection of womenswear and accessories named Team Karl, featuring biker jackets, skinny jeans and three metallic collars inspired by the Olympics in gold, silver, and bronze. In addition, the pop-up also features an exclusive capsule collection of limited-edition t-shirts, created in collaboration with London design agency I Love Dust.
The celebrated the pop-up, Selfridges hosted a star-studded party on its rooftop, attended by the designer himself, as well as Daphne Guinness, Suzy Menkes, actress Juno Temple, and Burberry model Edie Campbell.
