For the first time, Flemish born designer Kris Van Assche, Dior’s Creative Director teamed up with Belgian photographer Willy Vanderperre on movie project ‘The Time I Had Some Time Alone’. Korean film Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter… and Spring formed the inspiration of the ‘Lessness’ collection, and ‘less is more’ speaks through both the clothing and movie.
Danish model Victor Nylander stars in the movie wearing various iconic silhouettes that show an overall harmony and balance. The Dior Homme collection features deconstructed pieces made from raw materials that underline the idea behind the designs.
Kris van Assche graduated from Antwerp Royal Academy of Arts after which he went to Paris in 1998. Having worked for Dior and Yves Saint Laurent, he set up his own
fashion brand in 2005. The Time I Had Some Time film is part of Dior Homme's online
media strategy for SS11.
