LFW: Moschino Cheap and Chic

Showing for the first time during London Fashion Week, Moschino Cheap and Chic, presented a collection filled with energy and colour that had people questioning why Moschino hasn’t always shown their diffusion label here as its personality really does fit perfectly with the London fashion scene.
 
Playing up to its vivacious personality, the ‘Make Up Your Life’ collection for autumn/winter, showcased a colour palette inspired by powdery ‘make-up’ shades, with glossy highlights of nail varnish and lipstick, complimented by pops of light blue, orange and pink on fabrics such as crochet, fur, organza and lace, as well as playful make-up prints with painted lips featured on dresses and skirts.
 
This quirky line played with glamour and style and had an elegant fun about it with tough and soft textures combined with a touch of humour, featuring chunky zips on felt, mountaineering jumpers with patchwork lace, and military jacket paired with a soft powder pink crepe skirt.
