London Collections Men: Burberry

Burberry on Tuesday showed it's Spring/Summer 2014 collection, which was inspired by painters. Bold hues, accessorised in primary colours, made their way down the catwalk, like an homage to David Hockney.

Loosely tied ties, suede shoes and soft bags accompanied a slouchy and relaxed sartorial look. This was Burberry's most casual men's presentation that had a sporty luxe touch.

Staged in Hyde Park, the Burberry show drew an international crowd of press and buyers since its move home to London from Milan. The heritage of the brand resonated with the location, as did the quirky Britishness of the clothes.
