At Duckie Brown's autumn winter 2014 collection the look on the catwalk was East meets West. It was the first season the New York menswear label ventured into womenswear, and as usual their signature quirky designs added a new dimension to the brand.

Of note were the silhouettes, which were boxy on top and narrow yet relaxed at the bottom, like an oversize bomber jacket worn over a knee-lengh side split dress for the women, or a peacoat worn over silk trousers for the men.

Outerwear was a key feature, and on show were crombie, harrington, and donkey jackets, as well as a more sporty track jacket and overcoats. Colours were in limoncello, pink, China red, black and grey tones.

This was a collection all about proportion and for its first womenswear collection, it was very well executed.
