PFW: Miu Miu SS14

For a Spring/Summer collection, Miu Miu's catwalk show was very wintery. Coats and heavy hosiery were key looks in its spring range, perhaps because collections are delivered to stores in January and February, when most of Europe and America are in the thick of cold weather.

Miu Miu's SS14 collection features A-line silhouettes, animal printed dresses such as cats, fish and birds as well as autumnal textures, including fur, suede and velvet.

Strong on its accessories, patent leather Mary Janes featured alongside printed and sequinned lace-up boots, or platform strappy sandals with ankle straps.

Perspex chokers, transparent framed sunglasses, and velvet bow belts finished the looks.
