Pre Fall '14 goes monochrome

The Pre Fall '14 collections were full of monochrome colour blocking. The trend for black and white juxtaposition is proving a look that's here to stay, and seen at Gucci, Chanel and Opening Ceremony, amongst others.

But monochrome dressing is more than just a black and white wardrobe, the proof is in the details, such as contrasting sleeves, trims and waistbands or even colour-blocked shoes. These chromatic combinations create a graphic look that are commercial and were seen on runways and will filter down to the high street.
