London-based fashion designer Roland Mouret has launched a capsule collection of couture dresses with CoutureLab, a luxury online marketplace founded by Carmen Busquets.

The collection features four styles of dresses including floor-length and cocktail, which have been made using handmade, vintage French lace crafted in Britain. Due to the vintage lace involved the capsule line only features 12 dresses in total, three of each style.

Each design has been named after famous models of the 1950's, Inga, Cyd, Dovima and Wilhemina, and CoutureLab describes the dresses as typifying the designer’s ‘elegant, contemporary and powerfully feminine aesthetic’.

Highlights include a high-necked, long-sleeved lace black ‘Wilhelmina’ number as well as a ‘clay’ coloured full-length ‘Inga’ gown featuring a semi-sheer feather lace body with a draped crepe skirt.

Prices for the one-off Roland Mouret for CoutureLab collection range from 4,625 to 7,795 pounds.
