Today in Paris...

Première Vision, the world's leading fabric fair, is currently exhibiting in Paris. With nearly 50,000 visitors expected to see over 1800 fabric and yarn exhibitors, this is where the Spring Summer 2014 season truly starts.

Specialising in sophisticated and high-end fabrics, PV, as it is known amongst visitors, will be seen by many well-known brands and companies, from Giorgio Armani to Katharine Hamnett to up and coming designers like Mattijs van Bergen.

The process of fashion design commonly begins at designers finding fabrics and designing into these. The fabrics currently on exhibition will no doubt land in wardrobes around the globe come spring next year.
