Tokyo Fashion Week

Tokyo Fashion Week is well under way and will run until October 23rd. The Mercedes Benz-organised fashion week makes it one of the latest official weeks in the year for brands to show their spring/summer 2015 collections.

While the schedule is packed with Japanese catwalk designers, there are also guest designers, including UK brand House of Holland, best known for its slogan wear and a collaboration between Onitsuka Tiger and Andrea Pompilio.

Other notable brands showing on the first day include Tae Ashida, who launched her label in 1991 after graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, and newcomer Mr Gentleman, who's collections are built on a basics with a hint of incongruities to the detail, silhouette and styling.
