After Esprit announced the departure of Armin Broger as the head of the group's young, minimalist brand every.day.counts, now Patrick Götz, in charge of menswear has put in his papers.

Götz had joined the company in 2010 and was appointed global business manager for Esprit Men. The company has been putting in efforts to revive its men’s wear fashion. In July, the company named Edo van Elderen as Vice-President of menswear, to support its aim of strengthening the men's fashion category.

The menswear division only accounts for 13.3 percent of the group's operations. Esprit said that in the first quarter of this fiscal, men casual sales witnessed a decrease of about 4 percent at constant exchange rates and sales for Collection Men, declined by 15.4 percent.

Meanwhile, Elena Lazcanotegui stepped into the position vacated by Broger. Lazcanotegui joined Esprit in 2012, from Zara and has been a member of Esprit's strategic board and set up the trend division, which introduces quick fashion to the stores. Esprit launched every.day.counts in 2014 and has a subsidiary in Amsterdam.
