Alpargatas elevates Guillaume Prou as the President of EMEA

Alpargatas has appointed Guillaume Prou to be the new President for the EMEA region. Prou joined Alpargatas five years ago in the role of CFO EMEA. He has previously worked at L'Oréal for 15 years, in various positions in Thailand, France, Brazil and Portugal.

The company said, in his new role, Prou will continue to grow the Havaianas brand in EMEA which includes the new developments of product extensions, the growth of the retail footprint of Havaianas stores as well as the development of wholesale business in the region.

Based in São Paulo, Brazil, Alpargatas is globally known for the Havaianas flip flop brand, it launched in 1962.
