Andrew Iwaskow joins Tailored Brands as SVP HR

Tailored Brands has announced the appointment of Andrew Iwaskow as the company's new Executive Vice President, Human Resources. He will report to President and Chief Operating Officer Bruce K. Thorn and will serve on the company's executive management committee.

"We are pleased to bring Andrew on board to oversee talent acquisition, engagement and development across our organization," said Thorn in the release, adding, "Andrew is a strategic leader who has a proven track record of developing human resources strategies that enable companies to achieve and exceed their business goals, while developing a great working environment for employees."

Iwaskow, the company added, will oversee all aspects of human resources while strengthening the Company's ability to attract, develop and retain outstanding talent. He joins the company from Toys "R" Us, where he served as vice president, marketplace human resources. He holds more than 25 years of experience in leading human resources across corporate functions and field operations.

"I am excited to join a leading omni-channel retailer that understands how important engaged employees are to delivering an outstanding customer experience and achieving long-term success," said Iwaskow.

Prior to Toys "R" Us, Iwaskow was with PetSmart, where he managed human resources strategies for more than 50,000 store employees in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico, as well as corporate and distribution center employees. In addition, he has held human resources leadership roles at Staples and Party City.
