Chico's Digital Commerce President Miki Berardelli resigns

Chico's has realigned its marketing and digital commerce functions, placing the decision makers directly into the company's three brands, Chico's, White House Black Market and Soma. Meanwhile, owing to this development within the company, President of Digital Commerce and Chief Marketing Officer Miki Berardelli has put in her papers.

Commenting on the realignment exercise, Shelley Broader, President and Chief Executive Officer of Chico's said, “Disbanding these previously centralised functions will result in a leaner, more simplified structure that better supports the individual brand needs and places the functions closer to the customers, while at the same time, reducing costs and complexity within the company.”

President - Digital Commerce and CMO Miki Berardelli quits

In connection with the changes announced today, Miki Berardelli, President - Digital Commerce and Chief Marketing Officer, has decided to resign from her role in the company. Her primary marketing and digital commerce responsibilities will be now assumed by the brand presidents.

“On behalf of the Chico's organisation, we thank Miki for her vision and dedication. We wish her all the best as she moves ahead towards her next endeavour,” added Broader.
