London - Isabel Marant has confirmed the appointment of Anouck Duranteau-Loeper as its new deputy chief officer. She joins the team at the French fashion house from Paco Rabanne, where she had served as the brand's fashion general manager since 2013.

In her new role at Isabel Marant, Duranteau-Loeper will work together with Sophie Durufle and Nathalie Chemouny, the brand's two original business partners and managing directors, reports WWD.

Her appointment at the French fashion house follows on from Montefiore Investment acquiring a 51 percent stake in the brand this July and signals a point of growth, as the brand sets its sights on expanding into new markets.

"We’re convinced there is still room to grow in new territories, both geographically and in terms of product categories," said Henri Topiol, a principal at the French investment fund, to WWD at the time.

"Isabel Marant today is focused on ready-to-wear and shoes, and we believe that a brand of this stature could have an accessories range in the first stage and then maybe develop new categories — such as perfume or eyewear, or possibly men’s wear at some point. These are things we would like to explore."

The Parisian-based fashion house, founded by Isabel Marant in 1994, has sped up its global expansion of the last years and currently counts more than 800 sale locations around the world, including 22 standalone stores.
