Moss Bros announces senior executive appointments

Menswear retailer Moss Bros has named Tony Bennett as Group Finance Director and Paula Minowa as Chief Operating Officer. Bennett joins Moss Bros from Charles Tyrwhitt, where he served as the finance director. He replaces the position vacated by Robin Piggott, who had announced his desire to retire from the company in September, last year.

While Piggott is expected to depart at the company’s annual general meeting in May, Bennett may take over the new responsibility on August 15, 2016. Prior to Charles Tyrwhitt, where Bennett joined in 2009, he was working as head of commercial finance at Selfridges Retail and chief financial officer at Confetti Network.

New COO, Minowa will be joining Moss Bros on March 1, 2016, in the newly-create role to look after the customer journey across all channels and territories. She was previously associated as the CEO for German lifestyle retailer Strauss Innovation and has held various positions across general management, brand management and merchandising roles for leading retailers including Ann Summers and ASDA.
