Richard Johnson joins MyTheresa as Chief Commercial Officer

Ex-Matchesfashion commercial director Richard Johnson is joining luxury ecommerce platform MyTheresa.com as its new Chief Commercial Officer, states a Fashion Network report. The company has also elevated Tiffany Hsu to the position of Buying Director.

The report added that Johnson will step into his new role taking complete responsibility for all buying and merchandising activities, and oversee MyTheresa’s buying, retail & merchandising and merchandise planning teams. He was earlier associated with Dubai-based luxury group Al Tayer, high-end department store chain Harvey Nichols and menswear brand Moss Bros.

Meanwhile, Hsu, in her new role as Buying Director, the report further said, will look after all categories in the buying team and build relationships with brands with the aim of developing capsule collections and exclusive collaborations and report directly to Johnson.
